Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) allow you to set aside money on a pre-tax basis to help pay for health care expenses that are not covered by insurance or dependent care expenses. You can contribute up to $5,000 a year into a Health Care FSA and up to $5,000 a year into a Dependent Care FSA, per household.
