HCGH offers three different medical plans for its employees, including the Johns Hopkins Employer Health Program, BlueChoice HMO and United Healthcare HMO. HCGH pays 80 percent of the average HMO cost for the medical plans, 80 percent of the cost of the dental and vision plans and 100 percent of the cost of short-term disability and basic life insurance plans. Medical, dental and vision benefits are available to employees who are scheduled to work 40 to 59 hours per two-week pay period at 100 percent of the cost.
