HCGH’s new labor and delivery unit features 12 labor/delivery/recovery suites. Each room has large windows, a sleeper sofa for fathers or support persons as well as a CD/radio player and TV/VCR. Patients also have their own bathroom with shower facilities and all of the necessary medical equipment and supplies for labor and delivery.
A new monitoring system allows physicians and staff to check on a patient’s status from anywhere on the unit. |
