At more than twice the size of the previous unit, HCGH's new labor and delivery unit features 12 labor/delivery/recovery suites, two cesarean section rooms with adjacent recovery rooms, and a perinatal suite to care for high risk obstetrical patients. The unit's waiting room features plenty of comfortable space for waiting family and friends and offers a television as well as vending machines. The photographs on the walls of the waiting area were taken by one of our own labor and delivery nurses. |
