Howard County General Hospital

Howard County General Hospital offers 24-hour acute care psychiatric services by board-certified physicians and nurses specially trained in mental health. Our program is designed for adults only.

Psychiatric Services include:

• A 20-bed, inpatient psychiatric unit
• Dual Diagnosis Treatment for those with substance abuse and mental illness.
• Special psychiatric crisis intervention and evaluation is provided through the hospital's Psychiatric Emergency Department.
