Sometimes adverse conditions bring out the best in people, as was certainly the case at the 19th Annual Benefit Golf Classic on June 5th. In spite of constant rain, cold wind, flooding under the tent, clubs slipping from wet hands, parkas and boots our golfers came to have a good time and show their support, and they made the best of it!
All of the stories about golfers’ passion for their game must be true. We had 144 golfers registered for the morning flight and 128 played; 148 golfers registered for the afternoon flight and 119 checked in. While not everyone finished the entire round, we had enough brave souls in each session to win all of the trophies and prizes.

Best of all, proceeds raised by this golf outing will underwrite the entire cost of renovating and re-equipping Radiology Room #2 at Howard County General Hospital.
